Just Joined, Havent Started yet!!!

okay, so the last couple of weeks have royally sucked as far as exercise goes. i haven’t run, I haven’t done anything. I decided it’s time to get up off of my FAT ASS and exercise and lose this weight once and for all. I start law school in the fall and I DO NOT want to go into that stressful environment with extra pounds or with out a fully functioning work out schedule.

Goals: Well there are SO many, but lets take the baby steps :-) I want to be consistent with this exercise plan and I want to complete a 5k race in August with an 8 minute mile. my mile is like 15 minutes now, so I’mi hoping it’s not impossible or too crazy, but I think there’s hope!!! I can’t wait, this is going to be SO MUCH FUN, right?

Congrats on taking on a 5k! Sounds like you have a race, and goal.. do you need a plan? Check our library for some tips, and keep us posted! Good luck!

Thanks so much for the infor on the library!! I actually hadn’t checked it out and to be honest, it might have taken me months to find that lol. Anyway, quick question if you have a moment…what is running at tempo and how do I do it? I didn’t really understand what they wrote and Im’ a bit confused. Don’t know if you could help but if you can it would be great!!!

i cant imagine anyonoe not looking better after 50 lbs. i got off my my ass two years ago and down 40 and all the beteer for it. so rock on!
